Bud Dockery
I had the privilege to work with Bud Dockery in the early 90's. He was one of the best steel guitar players
in the country. Bud was also a great fiddle player and all around musician. But, even more important he
was a true gentleman, one of the kindest people you could ever meet. I played several jobs with him and
learned a lot just by listening to him play. Bud played in several well known bands in the Central Florida
area over the years. His wife Sarah was always with him and it was obvious that they were devoted to
each other. Bud's passing is a great loss to his family and friends, he is missed.
